I know what you’re thinking, with accessing a PMS instance via the internet hosted on a VPS, the problem most likely is the service throttling my bandwidth, but via sftp, I get about 80mbps transfer speed to and from it. I have also set up my library to automatically optimize everything for direct play so no transcoding is required for playback. When streaming from PMS, I usually max out at around 10mbps, which is fine for most things, but there are other items that I have ripped from blu-rays with a very high bitrate that I do not want to sacrafice. Does anyone have any advice on what I should look into first to fix this issue?
