So I signed up for Tidal Premium through Plex. after messing with it for a while it says the accounts are linked. I can access Tidal through the Tidal link on the left hand side of the web app (app.plex.tv). I can play Tidal tracks this way. But none of my music libraries have any Tidal features. No album completion or missing albums nor will it play back Tidal tracks mixed with my personal music. I am at a loss. I’ve tried IOS app, local web client, multiple devices, recreating libraries, none will show the Tidal content. Any ideas?
Can you make sure that it is enabled for your music library by editing it, you should see the following ticked in the Advanced section:
Also, if you haven’t tried restarting your server that would be something to maybe try first.
Yes it is enabled. I have that box ticked. Tried restarting it and that didn’t help.
Hmmm… seems the problem was not at my end. Gave up messing with it late last night and it was still not working. I just checked it this morning and it’s fine. Plex needs to iron out these bugs. It’s not a very smooth experience getting the accounts linked up.
