Thanks for the confirmation! Sorry I missed your initial report. Glad it’s working!!
That did the trick, thanks!
Because I thought that the Roku integration would take longer I cancelled my subscription. How do I renew it? It expires tomorrow but I see no way to renew. Do I have to wait until it expires and then renew it?
BTW, the Roku integration is working great!
I’m having the same issue as chargar. I signed up for Tidal and it shows up on every platform other than my Roku. I’ve closed the app, uninstalled it, reinstalled it, signed in, signed out, and threes still nothing about Tidal. I cancelled my Pandora account for this so I can stream through Roku. Is there anything else I can do to get it to work?
It’s not in the official Roku release just yet. You’ll have to install the preview channel. Installing this via the link provided will add another Plex channel named Plex Preview
to your Roku home screen. The official channel will have Tidal support in the next update.
Thank you! It works now.
I found a thread that said version 6.2.0 of the Roku app was released in Dec. '18 that added support for TIDAL. This is in the Plex Preview Channel, not the general channel. I added it but says it will take up to 24 hours to show. Will see.
Here is a link to that thread
Hi, it was working perfectly, but today the playlist (from the user - My Playlist) is not working anymore. I think tidal change something in your algorithin.
Or the Plex programers trying to solve the problem in MY TIDAL for continuous play the tracks of that option (is correct now) broken the MY TIDAL PLAYLISTS. Clicking in any playlist nothing happen.
Please, correct this. User Playlist is the most important thing in tidal.
Plex Preview version 6.2 build 5.
I have been seeing this same issues for 2 days now. Also, going to "My TIDAL’ it only shows category icons at the bottom of the screen. Is this going to be fixed sometime soon? Now that you want to be a streaming hub with paying subscriptions I think you need to up your game.
HELLO?? Is there anyone looking into this issue? Any timeframe for a fix? So much for using my Tidal playlists on the Roku for the party tonight
My Playlist, the most important thing in this service, was working very good and then…
Oh boy…
Yeah, Hopefully they get around to fixing it. I not thrilled paying for a service that doesn’t work. Be nice if they at least acknowledge they know about it.
What is going on? Have they just dropped support for Tidal on the Roku?
Please, return to the version 6.2.4 of the roku preview channel.
The 6.2.5 make tidal useless.
In roku we can’t choose the versions of the channels.
I see no way of choosing the roku preview channel. I just get 6.2.5. This is ridiculous I am paying for a service (Tidal) which I can’t use and getting no useful response from Plex. I have cancelled my Tidal service and plan on leaving a comment on Tidal as to the reason.
Now in the 6.3 version, Tidal is tottaly broken.
Contratulation for the Plex Team
And it’s still broken, weeks later.
Glad I am not paying for a Tidal subscription anymore. I won’t be going back. It didn’t offer anything that GPM didn’t already offer and was a complete nightmare to use in Plex anyway.
Oh god why?
Yeah, I’ve pretty much given up on Tidal with Plex on the Roku. It worked briefly and has now been broken for over a month with absolutely no explanation or acknowledgement of the problem. Very poor service and does not bode well with them integrating in other services in the future. I’ve gone back to spotify since they now have a quite good app on Roku.
