I’ve noticed the automatic time-shift feature when running live tv on some apps. Pretty cool. However, I don’t seem to be able to set the location where to store those recordings, or even turn this feature off altogether.
I run PMS on a Linux box with a small hard drive, as all the actual media files are stored across the network on a NFS share. I was watching the Olympics yesterday and noticed later that the Roku app offered me to start the program from the beginning which was more than five hours ago. Indeed all those hours were available for replay. Are there settings for time-shift anywhere to specify the recording location? With scheduled recordings, it lets me pick the library.
