Start Watching Recording in Progress from Beginning(Failing)

I have been having issues with the Plex DVR and starting shows from the beginning while they are recording. Most of the time, it works properly, but about 30% of the time I will select “watch from start” and Plex will instead begin the show about an hour into the program (on a 3 hour show). I cannot rewind to the beginning, only to the point that Plex deems to be the “beginning” which is an hour into the show. Live TV and Time Shifting Issue?

I have pretty much the same issue. This started sometime in the past few weeks and at least a couple versions of PMS. I’m running a Windows 10 pc with a HD Homerun Extend and BETA PMS. The extend is on the latest April firmware. We record the local news and national news every weeknight. Most nights we’ll start watching one after it started recording.
