I’ve sideloaded the version of Plex from this thread:

Insignia 39 inch FireTV - can't start movie

Server Version#: 1.15.4.993 Player Version#:7.14.1.9954 Plex Media Server Logs_2019-04-29_19-33-11.zip (2.8 MB) Plex player connects to the plex server, but is unable to start any video content.

It appears to be running fine so far.
