This maybe a edge case but said I’d mention it. Find an album which has a track numbered zero (0). Two examples, are Arcade Fire - Reflektor and Kylie Minogue - Light Years. Screenshot below from Arcade Fire, see Disk 1 track 0.
Arcade Fire - Reflektor -> https://musicbrainz.org/release/51860ecf-56cb-4c82-b7f1-dec80ebf5165
Kylie Minogue - Light Years -> https://musicbrainz.org/release/d310b3e5-ad65-43a4-b0c1-21e93d789078
When these get to plex the 0 tracks have a guid="local://xxxx label where all other tracks in the albums do not and have a correct guid="plex://track/xxxx detected.
Suspect its a bug with plex not taking into account a 0 track number. xmls from both tracks attached below for reference.
Sorry, updated screenshot with a better one giving all the tags. Track number is 0 and disk is 1, as plex picks up from the earlier screenshot in my OP.
Does this mean that you have only 2 albums which have a track number 0?
Or are there more?
Because the few I’ve found in my lib are all coming thorugh correctly. But they are flac, which uses different meta tags.
Correct, only 2 albums in my plex server which have track 0 which are the two I listed above. I’m still moving my library to plex so might have more in the future but as of now that is all.
Interesting, should have said my files are mp3’s. Have tried plex dance of the album and artist just to be sure but they still came into plex with local for those 0 tracks only.
BTW… when you say, coming through correctly do you mean they appear in the plex UI as track 0 or when you examine the xml itself it has a guid set to a plex track id ?
