Hi guys
using the most recent beta release for Nvidia shield and since updating all trailers and extras for my newly added movies are coming back with the following error:
"Playback error
Conversion failed. The transcoder failed to start"
Seems to be no issue playing the movies themselves - just the plexpass extras and trailers
The same is happening for me, also, as an FYI.

Only started happening when I upgraded to Version 1.24.2.4973 couple of days ago. After upgrading any new Movie or TV Shows, has the same error. Also happening to any older content before upgrading, if I refresh their metadata.
I am running PMS on Windows 10. Movies and TV Shows works fine just not the extras/trailers.
In the logs I found this error when playing trailers.
Is this is an issue with the server or client? I have no issues today playing either the trailers before movies or the extras after watching the movie.
Running 1.24.2.4973 on OpenMediaVault (Debian Linux)
Nvidia Shield TV (2015) – I think I am 1 version behind on the app.
Add a new movie then try. Also, are your trailers local trailers (which will play) or Plex Pass automated trailers and extras? This post is in reference to the Plex Pass extras.
I’ve also noticed this issue as well and it’s only with the trailers from Plex Pass.

Hi, i have the same issue, but i went back to use the legacy agent and that fixed it, i think the issue started when everyone started to upgrade from legacy agent to the new plex movie agent.
try the legacy and refresh your library and trailer will back to work again.
this is the best solution for now till someone of the developer fix the new plex movie agent.
seems to be OK now - just refreshed metadata for items added over the last few days and trailers and extras running fine again
