Thanks in advance,
Apple TV 2
help? anyone? please?
Did you install the new cert on the atv?
10 hours? Really?
Certs? Firewall? On :443? Incoming/outgoing?
After recreating the certs on the server I reinstalled them by creating a new profile on the apple tv.
no firewall blocking 443.
Additional Info
also not having any issues with PMS inside or outside network
ATV and PlexConnect are inside the same network as PMS.
Having the same issue. Details posted below.

Issue:
I seem to be unable to get PlexConect to load the trailers application as expected. Once I select the trailers application it almost immediately displays "Trailers unavailable. Try again later." PMS is working otherwise find and I am able to access the PMS from other devices (local and offsite). I have had this working before but have had to re-install the OS and needed to set it up again. PlexConnect logs are attached.
Does that go for my log too?
. For some reason your log link won't open on my device so I can't say, but if you are seeing intercept received then Yes it would seem like a Profile issue on the aTV.Does that go for my log too?
Both:
- might be Cert issue
- might be firewall related. What do you see when browsing to :80 and/or :443 from another device?
when going to :80 i get:
Error response
Error code 403.
Message: Not Serving Client 192.168.2.25.
Error code explanation: 403 = Request forbidden -- authorization will not help.
when going to :443 i get "this webpage not availible"
After reading previous posts, I tried re-installing the cert on the ATV again tonight to no avail.
>>when going to :443 i get "this webpage not availible"
Response to :80 is like expected.
For :443 you should see the same, potentially after overriding the browser's cert issue. To me it looks like port 443 is not correctly opened / still locked down by firewall or similar.
Even though it seems the same issue, you should always start your own thread so all responses are to you.
However I would say it's an issue with your profile on the aTV as the log shows it intercepting the request.
Apologies for the confusion. I have created a new, separate thread here.
I will respond to the posed questions provided there. Thanks.
The only firewall on my network is the one built into my modem / router.
The linux server I run PlexConnect on sits in the DMZ.
I added a rule directing traffic on 443 to the linux server's IP address, but honestly I didn't think this would matter since the ATV and the linux server are both behind this firewall.
Still no change.. :/
