Transcode I/O Error

Can someone please let me know why this error occurs while trying to play on my server plex transcoder i/o error.
This is very recent and am not sure why this is happening.
Please let me know if you have faced this and have resolved it.

Need the DEBUG log ZIP file please which capture it happening.

(sorry, we can’t diagnose properly and give help without seeing the details)

The transcoder got an I/O error reading the source file from
/mnt/plex/TV Shows/Stranger Things/Season 4/Stranger Things - S04E03 - Chapter Three - The Monster and the Superhero.mkv

if a network connection, and the connection went stale , you’d get this error.
you’d also get this error if a USB drive which didn’t spin up in time.

Yes, thats the one.

So I did restart the server and updated the mount point as well, its still the same.

The next step is to try and copy the file… see if it can actually be read and copied to some other location (as a test)

This seems to work, I have updated the mount and its working fine now. Thank you for the help :smiley:
