Transcoder outputting unplayable stream

Player Version#: 5.64.1

Tried to play an episode with ASS subtitle on a 2023 QN90C, but the transcoded media was unplayable. Didn’t get a Playback Error screen, only a blank screen. Upon checking logs a line regarding invalid subtitle streams caught my attention.
Tried playing the same episode on a Desktop browser and it played as expected, burned-in subtitle and all.
