I just installed the new version of the server on my nvidia shield and noticed I could not get to my files on the shield. I know I did this just a day or two ago and it worked. When I go under settings/Storage and Reset I see it’s enabled, so I tried to disable it and you can see the toggle being clicked to off but just says loading. If you then come back out it is disabled. Now I click on it to enable it and it just says loading.
Is this a Plex issue? I feel like this is implemented by the plex server. I know Nvidia has an update to their build but it’s only available through PM right now and don’t know if this will fix it or not.
Anyone else upgraded and notice that you cannot access your files on your shield?
Ok. scans have finished. Storage location now shows up.Storage location does not let me choose a location but appears to be doing something (spinning circle). process completes. plex server restarts. storage location is still internal(storage).
Just confirming I am also seeing this after the 1.15.6.1079 PMS update. Shield internal storage no longer mountable from my macOS machines. Have tried rebooting etc.
I confirm what you say, it still does not work “file sharing network” I do not know what changes are, but I’m glad to know that at least an update has been released quickly, I hope you can solve this soon for my great inconvenience.
Same issue here, i can not access my files anymore. This makes plex basically useless on shield for me Do we have any info from the developers regarding this and by when it could be fixed?
Hello everyone, I agree this doesn’t work anymore since I’ve updated my PMS from 1.14.X to 1.15.6.X.
I was trying to add a new scanner but without this feature I can’t.
Does anyone find a solution with this version ?
I don’t want to rollback and reset my current installation. My library is huge and it takes weeks to reload all its content.
I don’t want to downgrade so I didn’t try. I saw that it’s the only solution right now but I asked if someone found a solution with the last version (1.16.6.X).
