Trouble Accessing Libraries

Have used Plex for many years now without many issues. For a little more than a month or so, I’ve had nothing but issues. Basically, when I go to watch Plex on my TV through Roku, it takes FOREVER for it to find the libraries and any content in them IF it even does. Then, when you try to actually watch something it takes FOREVER to even do anything. 9 times out 10 it will tell you that it can not find the media or that it doesn’t exist. It is not exclusive to the television. Same issues when I try to view anything on my iPad. All attempts have been on the same network. It seems to find the computer, just can’t access the libraries very well.

Now, if I turn my AVG off, it seems to perform better, but it doesn’t always work then either. AVG suggested that I add an exception to the “Web Shield.” When I try to do that, it asks for a server and a service (http:// or https://). I’ve tried putting various things in there to no avail.

I have even tried starting fresh, removing all remnants of Plex from my Mac and doing a fresh install. Nothing seems to help.

My server is installed on macOS Catalina.
The computer is an iMac with 2.9Ghz Quad Core Intel Core i5. 16 GB DDR3
