Troubleshooting Remote Access

I have spent several hours trying to configure Plex for remote access. My problem is that when I click on enable remote access, I get the message " Fully accessible outside your network" for approximately ten (10) seconds. After 10 seconds, I get the message “Not available outside your network”. I have tried to connect both manually and automatically. In both cases , the same thing happens. I even disabled my anti-virus program and my ad blocker program. I get the same result. I have a Verizon router.

Can someone explain what is happening? Or provide guidance to help me troubleshoot the issue.

Did you setup a port forwarding?
Check canyouseeme.org once setup for success on 32400.

Are you behind a NAT function from your ISP side? If you are you might have to buy a static IP address.
