its getting old, that we cant seem to stop using plex agent, without it popups up non-stop with UPGRADE LIB…
Plex agents are kindda useless, and loads of tv shows never comes up, so need to be put in manually, what happen to being able to use MORE agent, and not this crap getting locked into one, that is the least up2date
I suppose Plex will stop supporting their legacy agents at some point. So the question is more about what’s causing those issues on your setup… the new agents are quite stable and fast in my experience… though especially the Plex TV Series agent tends to be more strict than its predecessor (which shouldn’t matter all that much if you upgrade a library but for new additions or if you actually rebuild a library).
the plex agent is working, its just way from updated with tv shows and stuff if not US, so its useless!
I’m using it with various non-US content without issues. Any specific examples that gives you trouble (show, file naming/organization)?
