i’m running plex media server 1.12.2.4929 on a freenas 11.1-u4 system. i installed pms as a plugin. i’m missing posters for all my tv series and seasons. the metadata looks good and i get thumbnails for the episodes. just no posters for the series or the seasons. all the other media on my server looks good. the metadata and posters for my movies and music are all there.
some of my tv show files don’t quite follow the recommended naming convention. they have names like this Marvels.Agents.of.S.H.I.E.L.D.S02E01.mkv. but for the shows that are named correctly, i still don’t get any posters.
attached are the server logs. when i looked at the log for the thetvdb agent, i saw a lot of these messages.
I’m having the same problem with both TV and movie posters. I’m running version 1.15.2.793. This is the latest version that’s been packaged in FreeBSD (pkg update && pkg upgrade)
I’m not seeing any errors in the logs though other than plex trying to scan my security cameras… I’m not getting any posters for any of the shows or movies and have tried using the “match” option and selected both The Movie DB and The TVDB, neither found any matches which makes me wonder if it’s really going out or not. I’m a paid subscriber which I’m starting to wonder why I bothered to do this when there’s no apparent support for this product other than this forum.
