So, I am new to Plex. Started back in October of last year. I have been importing my movies and tv shows with relative ease. I have run into a problem with Star Wars Rebels. On TVdb the episode list is completely wrong, and it causes all of the episodes to be misnamed. I have looked some TVdb to resolve this (apparently a bunch of others have too, with no luck there). I figured I would manually change the names to the correct names on my end, well that doesn’t work. I can change the artwork, but when I change the name it just stays with what was originally there (it is incorrect). It is pretty frustrating. Is this an issue that someone can help me to resolve?
If you are saying that the season/episode on the TV DB is not correct and gives the wrong title and description, then that has to be updated on their site since it is used as the source of all truth.
If you are saying that the data that is returned does not match what the website says it should have (the TV DB is correct but PLEX pulls wrong data) then that is a different issue.
I just checked the 10 or so episodes I have of Star Wars Rebels and I think they ar right but maybe they ar wrong and I don’t know. What are a few episodes and I will check to see if mine match yours.

So, right now my “Episode 1” is called Droids in Distress, but it is Part 1 of Spark of Rebellion (each episode is named incorrectly because of the way that the TVdb user that made the page has decided is the “proper episode order,” despite numerous articles and the presence of the dvd / blu ray / iTunes sets showing the proper order.) This sort of naming is off all the way through the season, up to episode 14 and 15 which are just called episode 14 and episode 15.

If you ripped the episodes from DVD then a) follow the DVD order on the TVDB website and b) edit your TV Show settings and on the advanced tab change the ‘Episode ordering’ to ‘DVD order’.Otherwise, follow the episode naming and numbering on the TVDB.
Apologies in advance, but I do not see the “TV Show settings advanced tab.” Could you point me to the right place?
You learn something new every day!!
Even after doing that the episodes still aren’t formatted correctly (episode one displays Droids in Distress instead of Spark of Rebellion Part 1).

For Season 01 Episode 01 in both aired date and DVD order the first episode is Droids in Distress, at least according to the TVDB which should be your source.Spark Of Rebellion is a special and should be listed in your specials folder as S00E09 in aired date or S00E01 in DVD order, as shown on the TVDB.
I ended up listing it as episode 00.
I would place it in a specials folder but I would like it to be binge-watchable. Plus, I have no idea where to get the other specials.
