It will only work if there is only one immediate folder level above of
IT Crowd, which must be the very folder that has been added to the TV Shows library.
This is the cause exactly.
Putting the show in the top folder fixed it.
I don’t really want all my shows in one giant folder (they are already organized into sub folders by letter) - so what I ended up doing was adding each individual “letter” sub folder to the library.
Took a little bit to re-scan but it’s all there, including the extras.
