Hi,
Not sure if I am making some obvious mistake here but no matter how much I refresh my library and scan for files this show won’t add for me. Pretty sure it’s all formatted correctly too so I am pretty confused. All files are MKV.
Any help is deeply appreciated.

‘Season’, not ‘Series’
You can use e.g. TheRenamer or Filebot to make these changes quickly.
Afterwards, perform the Plex Dance
Still nothing - I’m just kinda baffled because none of my other TV show media is formatted correctly and it all shows up just fine
You might have to change the “Series 01,” “Series 02,” etc folder names to to the Plex standard of “Season 01,.” "Ssaosn 02.
We know the two words mean the same thing, but eventually Plex stumbles if you don’t stick pretty close to the naming convention. Works for a while, then one day, not so good.
To make Plex really happy, include the show name as well so something like this will likely work:
The Eric Andre Show << TV show folder
… … Season 01 << The Season or Series folder
… … … … The Eric Andre Show - S01E01.mkv << the video file
You might have to Plex Dance the show, if a simple renaming doesn’t work right away. The Plex Dance is something a lot of us learned how to do when things go wrong expectantly. Here’s the steps:
I have tried the Plex Dance, and have tried used the ReNamer to re-format all of the episodes. Thank you for the help so far but it’s still not showing in my TV Shows for whatever reason

You need to set up TheRenamer to use the correct format.
no dot. but space hyphen space
include the year in parentheses as I’ve shown above.
Are these mp4 files?
If so, you may need to do this before trying further:
Go to Settings - Server - Agents - Shows - TheTVDB
In there, grab the line ‘Local Media Assets’ with your mouse and drag it downwards, so it ends up being at the bottom of the stack of active agents.
Repeat the same under
Settings - Server - Agents - Shows - TheMovieDatabase

Settings - Server - Agents - Movies - Plex Movie
+
Settings - Server - Agents - Movies - TheMovieDatabase
Sorry to be a pain but it still won’t work, I re-formatted and Plex Dance’d… I don’t think it’s a formatting issue with the files. They are all MKV files. Thank you for your help so far.
When you edit your tv show library,
go to the ‘Add Folders’ tab.
How many paths are there? And where do they point to?
Hey, so I edited the destination in the library and now it’s showing up… however it’s all showing as season 1
Where does it point to now?
I’ve been having an issue trying to add “Lost.” I have been unsuccessfully trying to add this series for quite some time now, but it would never show up, even after removing the folder from the drive, emptying the trash, and cleaning bundles–and I’ve tried numerous times.
So, I tried adding adding the individual seasons, and boom! It’s all there now.
Go figure.
Plex server has a conflict finding files “… S01 … MKV” !!!
