I just copied episodes of the new Saved By The Bell over to my Plex Server, and it finds the files fine and will let me play them. But it’s grabbing the art work from the old series for the thumbnails. I’m sure it’s something simple, but is there something I can do to the name, or something else to make it grab the correct artwork?
Yo. I found the perfect solution. Copy the original saved by the bell (1989) to your desktop, then delete it from your plex. With neither version of the show loaded on plex, add the new one (2020)…it will show up as the OG Saved by the Bell. Fix the match so it uses the 2020 version … voila. Now, add the OG Saved by the Bell to plex, and boom…now both versions show correctly and separately. Hope this helps…it worked for me. It also corrected the issue w the new Animaniacs reboot.
Did you name the show: Ssved By The Bell (2020) ?

Thank you two for the help. I got it working with a combination of the two. I had renamed the file with the 2020 part, but it still wasn’t picking up the new thumbnails. I tried removing it from the server after renaming it, and then putting it back on and that fixed it.
The folder not the file should be named Saved By The Bell (2020). That is the full name of the show.
