TV Shows Metadata Not Updating

Hi there. New Plex pass user. Trying this over Emby and one thing I’m noticing is a lot of my TV shows are not getting episode titles and descriptions updated. I have a fresh install of Plex, brand new media server. Not having messed with any settings about 70% of my TV shows get titles + descriptions while other shows do not. I’ve checked the file name format and it’s no different throughout. I’m following this format: https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/200220687-Naming-Series-Season-Based-TV-Shows

Really frustrating… Anyone have a fix for this?

Post your naming convention, folder structure, screenshot of tv agents setting and example of tv show that is not matching correctly.

Some users on the forum are reporting similar issues with the latest 0.9.17.0 release. If you are using this very release, give the 0.9.16.6 a try.

I’m using server version 0.9.16.6. Figured out the issue. The problem TV show was “The Flash”. I had it named as just “The Flash” but Freebase was expecting to see “The Flash (2014)”. After performing a manual “Fix Incorrect Match” I was able to get all the TV show data to download properly. Still can’t explain why Season 1 meta downloaded just fine…but alas, this resolved my issue. Thanks all.
