TVDB Aired Date Order Being Ignored

I can’t seem to get Plex to recognize the TVDB Airdate sort order for the show “The Transformers”.

On the show, I have library order set to TVDB (Airdate)

The files are named appropriately, and match the TVDB [Airdate ordering]

I’ve done the Plex Dance for the entire show (moving out files, emptying trash when scan completes, delete bundle, re-move files), as well as the dance for just the incorrect episodes (the first few episodes are correct).

No matter what I do, it seems Plex will not play nice:

I also tried renaming my show folder to include the TVDB name & year per the Plex documentation, but no dice.

At a loss - other options for episode ordering seem to change the metadata - changing to DVD release for example, changes the poster. Any suggestions? Logs attached.

Is it only season 1 that is wrong?

I don’t think you did anything wrong. I need to wait for our metadata folks to confirm but I think we just don’t have the correct info for that show. It looks like someone edited that show on TVDB late last year so we may have not gotten the update or something.

I’ve only loaded up Season 1 thus far, but I can definitely move forward and report back if its helpful.

@BigWheel it would appear to only affect Season 1

I believe this is fixed now. You may have to refresh metadata for that show or library
