TVDB / The Sweeney / Mismatch S00E03 ?

Looked as much as I can, but their V2 web interface is not being helpful.

I have a file “Regan” from the BluRay:

… /TV Shows/The Sweeney (1975)/S00E03 (BluRay).mkv

and no matter what ordering I use it will only show up as [S00E02 - “The Sweeney 2!”](http://platypus.thetvdb.com/eng/series/the_sweeney/season/official/episodes/341719 “S00E02 - “The Sweeney 2!””) - in case there was an off-by-one error I renamed it to S00E04 and then S00E02 and more but nothing.

On TVDB I find it on this page:

platypus.thetvdb.com/eng/series/the_sweeney/seasons/official/0

Where else should I look / try / get logs from ?

Peter

There are 2 versions of ‘The Sweeney’ on TheTVDB.
https://www.thetvdb.com/search?q=The+Sweeney&l=en

But both of them agree that the episode title of S00E03 is ‘Sweeney 2’
So, that most likely means that the file you have, has this wrong title ‘embedded’ in itself.

Do this:
Go to Settings - Server - Agents - Shows - TheTVDB
In there, grab the line ‘Local Media Assets’ with your mouse and drag it downwards, so it ends up being at the bottom of the stack of active agents.
Repeat the same under
Settings - Server - Agents - Shows - TheMovieDatabase
+
Settings - Server - Agents - Movies - Plex Movie
+
Settings - Server - Agents - Movies - TheMovieDatabase

Afterwards, ‘Refresh Metadata’ on the series.

In extreme cases (particularly after mismatches and several attempts of renaming the file), you’ll have to perform the Plex Dance

Thanks. That means there are three sets then, 'cause the one I linked to above is neither of those but does come back in a search (type “The Sweeney” in the online search). I would note the first match in your search is mispelled “The Sweeny” (no last ‘e’) and this is probably why it’s not the right one for any sane user  (the url components seem to be “the-sweeny”, “the_sweeny” and “the-sweeney”. Sigh.

Anyway, after all that and with your help, changing the filename to “S00E01…” and entering the title ID in the match search (not auto searching) made it all work.

That’s not correct. The one you’ve linked to has a TVDB-ID of 76998
That is identical with the second one in my link.

That is just the URL. The title is correctly spelled on the pages.
I think that was an automated change, otherwise the two versions couldn’t be differentiated by URL.

I’ll put in a request to delete the duplicate.

Ah! Hang on, that was yesterday - today google returns different things. I was being directed (by Google) to pegasus.tvdb.com and not the main site. The former is now gone. Luser error on my part, ta.
