Twilight Zone Episode names missing

This is so weird. I’m trying to get the metadata right for season 3 of the classic series The Twilight Zone and just can’t seem to get it to work - at least not completely. I’ve successfully done many other TV series…but this one is a puzzler. I get the episode synopsis and writers names and dates…everything. But the name of the episode remains simply the file name (ugly) and not the episode name. Note the episode names here in the series page are just the file names truncated:

I have my files named and organized as recommend. Here’s a screen shot of the file path of episode 1:

Here’s what the metadata is showing:

Where have I gone astray? Clearly some of the content is being downloaded??? The year, the writers, the synopsis…but the episode name is missing. In this case the episode is called “Two”. I’ve checked thetvdb here:

Any help with this weirdness would be vastly appreciated.

m4v files can have embedded meta data.
The weird episode names come from there, most likely.

Do this:
Go to Settings - Server - Agents - Shows - TheTVDB
In there, grab the line ‘Local Media Assets’ with your mouse and drag it downwards, so it ends up being at the bottom of the stack of active agents.
Repeat the same under
Settings - Server - Agents - Shows - TheMovieDatabase
+
Settings - Server - Agents - Movies - Plex Movie
+
Settings - Server - Agents - Movies - TheMovieDatabase

Afterwards ‘Refresh Metadata’ for the whole show.

If you have episodes which are put into the wrong season or episode number, perform the Plex Dance with them.

Otto - You sir, are a genius! Fixed it right up! Thank you VERY much!

Thank you, OttoKerner! Thought I was going nuts but, you have just saved me hours of work and frustration. Cheers, friend!

Hi All,
I have the same problem with Dragon Ball GT (64 epidodes)… only the first 12 are correctly named… then others are just called “episode n.”, The problem is that when i drag the agents order… the new order is not saved. Do i need to save settings somewhere?
Thanks in advance

I had a similar issue with season 2, all the episodes were named “Episode 1”, “Episode 2”, etc. I didn’t have any of the tvdb metadata, only local screen grabs of each episode. I tried the advise mentioned in this thread but nothing helped. Finally, I clicked “Fix Match” from the “More” drop-down menu and it fixed everything.
