Two instances of PMS - Deleted the wrong one :facepalm

So I have “partly” managed to get it back. I keep hitting the wall on Not Authorized after claiming the server. I am on the same subnet as the QNAP NAS.

I have tried what ChuckPa suggested here. No luck though.

@camandsam Let’s walk through this in steps. The “is not hosted by Plex” message is a small security notice put into the Plex/Web app for the very first time you access a server off-lan. (notice you used https://app.plex.tv) It’s telling you what it knows (which in this case is resolved to a LAN IP) and wanting you to confirm that “Yes, this is known and OK to proceed”. Opening http://nas-ip-address:32400/web in incognito mode. I can see my libraries:

I get shown my (unclaimed) libraries:

I click CLAIM IT NOW

Which points me to Server > Settings. Where I click CLAIM SERVER

I enter my credentials (incognito mode, alert box shows the correct NAS IP). Then this page is shown and all libraries are “gone” again - including the Server section under Settings.

Preferences.xml is updated with the new attributes (PlexOnlineUsername, PlexOnlineEmail, PlexOnlineToken, PlexOnlineHome) though. It is marked as claimed when browsing: http://nas-ip-address:32400/identity

I can do this multiple times, but the end result is always the same: Not Authorized.
