Hi,
I am trying to figure out a way to have PLEX recognize “The Big Four Live From Sofia, Bulgaria (2010) Part 1” and “The Big Four Live From Sofia, Bulgaria (2010) Part 2” as two separate files. Instead it merged the two files and totaled the entire running time.
I also tried to go into PLEX and separate the two files manually but I am not given the choice.
Thoughts? Thanks!
Are these video files? If so try moving the (2010) [example: The Big Four Live From Sofia, Bulgaria Part 1 (2010)] to the end and double check the metadata on the files. Could be Plex is not seeing them as 2 different files when it gets to the date.

Keep in mind that a “Movie”/“Video” in Plex is only one item or part.
Your two files may appear as two totally separate items in your library, with separate poster and metadata for each part.
Also, not all Plex clients play nice with content spread across multiple files.
Consider joining the parts into one file.

Thanks for the responses. I am just going to leave it the way it is. I was hoping to keep the two files separate but all in one will work I guess.
