I have two TV-shows named “Shogun”. One is from 1980 and the other was done in 2024. I cannot get both Series to display in Plex. I have them set up in my TV-Shows library folders as “Shogun (1980) {tvdb-80284} S01E01.mkv” and " Shogun (2024) {tvdb-392573} S01E01.mkv. Etc…
Only the 1980 version is showing on Plex. How can I get the 2024 version to display? I’ve tried rescanning the library.
Which folder of your folder structure has been added to the Plex library?
Did you create the proper folder names only after the files have been mismatched? If so, you may have to Plex Dance.
The folder structure looks correct: It is basically “TV-Shows/Shogun (1980)” and “TV-Shows/Shogun (2024)”. Then I have the file names setup as “Shogun (1980) {tvdb-80284} S01E01” (same for the other series). I added the {tvdb-xxxx} later trying to solve this - but it doesn’t help.
I’m not sure what the Plex Dance is. I’ll check on that now.
