[Ubuntu 14.04] Agents not finding any matches

Hi guys,

 

A couple of weeks ago, Plex started not finding any matches.

Having another issue I reinstalled and started from scratch with version 0.9.12.1.1079-b655370 on Ubuntu 14.04. 

Added libraries again from scratch and nothing has been matched at all.

 

Any help would be much appreciated as I'm back to using XMBC until I can figure this out! :'(

I am having the same issue.

Any agent that I use is not loading any images or info.

I have the exact same scenario. I got not matches, completely deleted plex and folders then reinstalled the latest version and I’m getting 0 matches.

Im having the same issue installed Ubuntu 15.04 and plex 0.9.12.1 and no matches. 

update: For me it seems to help to say force renew on main groups. movies - tv shows etc...

Agents are downed? not working on osx

Same problem here. No metadata or what so ever. Moved library and only a couple of tv shows found metadata yesterday. No movie.

edit: I restarted Plex server in terminal. It worked for me and now all metadata is ok. When I first restarted it in GUI it did not help.

 
sudo service plexmediaserver restart

I managed to fix plex by doing the following

  1. Stop Plex - sudo plexmediaserver stop
  2. Cd /var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-ins

    (My plex default install location, yours may be different)
  3. rm -R System.bundle
  4. rm -R Services.bundle
  5. Restart plex - sudo plexmediaserver start

Having same issue with Windows 7 served as well. After a recent update my TV Shows stopped loading metadata and images, deleted the library and reloaded, all that did is make it worse, tried manually fixing the matches and it tells me it can’t find a match on TVDB but when I go to the site it finds it no problem. Anyone know how to fix this it’s driving me nuts!

Having the same issue.

running ubuntu 14.04

plex version 9.12.3

tried disabling ssl and problem still exists

removed system.bundle and services.bundle and still no go.

clicking match and then selecting the movie seems to work.

Experienced same problem... Stopping server, deleting Service and System bundles, and restarting server clicked the trick...

Woohoo... Metadata now being matched and downloaded...

Reinstall & Reboot - No Fix
Delete *.bundle packages mentioned above & Reboot - No Fix

I have a VPN installed, though it predates the issues, wondering if that could be further complicating the situation.

same issue with windows 8. databases dont seem to be down but only my shows and movies from last couple days arent matching up.

I too am having this issue with a new ubuntu server installation… frustrated beyond belief. The agents don’t even pretend to search, just instant fail.

I know this is an old thread but I wanted to share what finally worked for me. PlexPass running on Ubuntu 16.04. Deleting my library (in plex, not the actual video files) and re-adding it seems to have fixed this for me. I did do the above steps as well like deleting the bundle files which initially did nothing but I am unsure if that affected anything after adding back the library.
