A few things:
- First of all, I’m very sorry you’re having issues with the Plex DVR. Obviously we want this to work perfectly for everyone.
- To that point, we’re working as we speak on a number of different things: 1) working with TiVo to correct faulty data 2) fixing bugs and improving our cloud EPG 3) fixing bugs and improving the server side of the DVR which consumes that EPG.
- Thirdly, and perhaps most importantly, it’s unfair and inaccurate to conclude that things are worse for every single DVR user. The reality of the situation is complex—there are thousands of lineups around the world, and both Gracenote and TiVo have different sources & methods in each of the areas. For some set of people, the data is better; for others, the quality is about the same; and for an unfortunate third set, the data is worse.
Bottom line—we’re working hard to make things better within the confines of what we can improve.
