So that was a long answer and to summarise: thanks for your direct response, but here are my outstanding questions:

1. Do you have a timing for your 3 stated actions?
2. Please quantify (with source) your statement re: Tivo v Gracenote? (improved /same/ worse)
3. Are you going to acknowledge this problem in your blog or on your website ? …OK, this maybe subject to providing an answer for question (2).
