Did a fresh channel scan which triggered a guide refresh. The guide refresh was very slow initially but has now completed and the guide is showing programmes up to SAT 27 OCT 06:00 for BBC and beyond that for other channels.
I have the same problem. Refresh manually takes an age and at present the Channels 1-5 show "to Be announced from 10am tomorrow.
I set a manual refresh off after yesterdays post. None of the branded channels for BBC, ITV, 4 or 5 go beyond programs at 2AM tomorrow.
I had same last night but did a manual refresh and have weeks programming now… I think it always keeps at least a day ahead automatically but really annoying it is never that far ahead automatically,
I think the problem might be related to the scheduled task.
I have the option “Perform refresh of program guide data.” enabled in my Scheduled Tasks settings but when I check the PMS log of last night, the refresh attempt finished in 18 secs:

I’m also getting this issue.
Same problem, some channels show ‘To be announced’ for all shows from a day or two ahead. A manual refresh solves it, but until the days it covers has passed.
I’m wondering if there is a way of triggering the guide refresh via command line. My server is running on macOS, so I could easily setup a LaunchDaemon to run the refresh daily.
Is everyone in this thread from the UK… Eg. is this a freeview source problem or is it widerspread.?

I dont think it’s a source problem as for me i can run a manual refresh library and it updates correctly
It just doesnt update automatically on it’s own

I agree that it doesn’t feel like guide data problem but I would expect the TO BE ANNOUNCED being mentioned on lots of other threads from our cross Atlantic friends. It only seems to be UK Freeview that is experiencing this refresh problem…

Just checked mine after update and it seems to only be a problem for BBC1 & 2 now, other channels look fine (BBC only go to 6am Monday)
It does look a mess though, with all dates in the mm/dd/yy format 
Same problem here - it can be channel specific (so I can have a long timeframes for some channels, and short ones for others). BBC seems to be the worst hit.
Mentioned a way of forcing the manual download.
I wonder if its a timer issue - the manual download for me takes way longer than an update.
I’m using the UK sky epg and its happening to me, so not just freeview. Its really frustrating that we cant get the developers attention on this bug.
I remember from the Mediacenter days that BBC etc would only go a week ahead - however other channels go much further forward… however not sure why we are getting less than than that now!
I’m having the same problem. Scheduled refreshes are not working. Only a manual refresh fixes the issue.
The bigger problem with Plex is their support. Any clue if Plex actually know this is an issue and have it logged as a bug?

Tried to set Lego masters to record the guide showed no airings, a manaul refresh showed a ep tomorrow night.
I am in Australia, my scheduled tasks appear not to be triggering the guide refresh, so same problem.
I’m not getting updates either, in the US on OTA, and forcing it does nothing. I have been missing recordings as a result. I have half a day’s listings and no amount of refreshing, manual updates is correcting it.
As no one from Plex seems to be replying here, has anyone gotten results contacting them directly?

I have the same problem, manual guide update works fine and brings about 14 days through but the schedule update does not seem to be working.
I am from the UK using hd homerun quad, set to youview.
I have done a complete uninstall including registry etc then reinstalled and set up from scratch…still the same problem afterwards.
