UK Scanning Issue - Losing Channels

OK, so before I closed down for the day I thought I would just try and change some other settings. The first one I changed was in my account. Under “Audio and Subtitle settings” I enabled “automatically select audio and substitletle tracks”. I then retested and found I could now see and hear BCC! Changed it back and lost it again. So I now have a working system again- but do not understand why!

We live on the edge of Lincolnshire and the aerial is set up for the Belmont Transmitter.

I have now tried:

Freeview-National Lineup United kingdom OTA Broadcast (BBC2 OK- but no BBC1 or BBC1 HD)

Freeview Yorkshire Linc OTA Broadcast (same result, except got BBC1 HD)

Freeview Play-National Lineup United kingdom OTA Broadcast (BBC2 OK- but no BBC1)

Freeview Play-Yorkshire Linc Lineup United Kingdom IPTV (same- no BBC1)

Freeview Play-National Lineup United kingdom IPTV (same- no BBC1)

Just get the whirling circle of death each time…… The screen shows the channel information- but no picture, sound, etc. is loaded.

I get the impression that tuning is also a bit slower now than before I did the reinstall.

Don’t remember having such probelems last time I set it up either.

Have noticed that the default for BBC2 is Northern Ireland, BB1 is Yorkshire, BBC4 is Scotland. But seem to be able to watch the all apart from BBC1. Changing BBC1 to York & Lincoln does not change anything- still can not see BBC1

Please switch from using the National lineup. The local OTA lineups should be fairly accurate now. When using the national lineup, you would need to manually map each channel that has multiple entries to select the one for your area - the default selection would always be wrong when the National lineup is used as it would just pick the last entry in event of coming across multiple entries eg for channel 9

Glad it is fixed. What was the account setting before for “Preferred Audio Language” ?
