I rarely look at my Plex settings. It’s been very much a “set it and forget it” thing. When accessing Settings via my profile today to add a new Library source I no longer have access to the “Manage” section where my Libraries are located.
Based on some research in the forums it might indicate that my server isn’t claimed (or something along those lines), which is weird because I can see all of my content that was originally configured in my Libraries when accessing Plex on my local network using Roku (which is my primary use case).
How can I fix this/how do I “reclaim” my Plex installation?
For any others who stumble upon this thread with a similar issue - I think my problem was that my Synology had a dynamically applied IP address. I recently made some (unrelated to Synology) changes to my home network, and when the IP for my Synology changed I think it caused this issue where I had to re-claim my Plex instance using the new IP. I’ve since set my Synology to a static IP to help avoid this issue in the future.
