Server Version#:1.42.2.10156
System: Win 11 PC
Running Locally and never accessed remotely
So one day I was unable to access my Plex Server so I deleted and reinstalled the app and was still not able to access (this has worked in the past). I have tried what I have found online such as amending the PlexClaim Token in reg edit.
Generating a new Claim token and running the command $PLEX_CLAIM=“CLAME_CODE” and still nothing
Deleted Registry Key
Deleted Local App Data
Deleted folder in Program files
Reinstalled but nothing seems to work
When I right click the plex icon and Click Open Plex it is stuck on Getting Ready (http://127.0.0.1:32400/myplex/launch?X-Plex-Token=local-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx) removed characters
When I open http://127.0.0.1:32400/web in a private window I get Not authorized You do not have access to this server.
When I access http://xxx.xxx.x.xxx:32400/web (my ip) I also get Not authorized You do not have access to this server.
If I access http://127.0.0.1:32400/web/index.html#!/ it says Add your media to Plex (as if I dont have it installed
I have also tried You need to reclaim your server, but don’t dare to touch the Windows Registry - General Discussions / Tips, Tricks & How-Tos - Plex Forum
I am not bothered if I cannot access / reclaim the same server I just want to be able to set up a new one on the same PC ![]()
Any help would be appreciated.
