The HDHR was previously defined but the guide would not update. So using several other posts I tried deleting the tv.* files from the Databases directory and restarting. That did not work so I tried deleting and redefining the HDHR. Now the HDHR is not found in UI. Specifying the IP address directly does not work either.
From the logs it looks like the delete never completely happened.

The DVR delete isn’t instantaneous, re-adding it too soon creates a confused database. Restore a backup and try again or perform the database repair.
Would the delete take days? I have performed a database repair and restarted the server several times. I am still unable to add the HDHR.
Is there a way to manually delete the HDHR definition in the database?
Did you verify all the permissions, from other posts looks like people have had troubles with Synology imposed changes.
Would you have a reference to the post about correcting permissions? I’ll try the delete and see if that works.
After deleting the data from the media_provider_resources table the HDHR was found when adding a DVR. However, when saving the DVR the error “Error saving DVR please try again” was displayed.
Now I am in the same situation with a partially added DVR.
