Unable to add or edit libraries

Hi, I run about 30 separate libraries from my PC, running from 16 external HDDs connected via USB. At present, I cannot add a new library, or edit any of my existing libraries. All existing libraries appear to be functioning with regards to scanning and adding new content.

I just need to be able to add a couple of new categories for housekeeping purposes, and also add a couple of new ones.

Is this the result of the latest update (currently on 1.43.0.10162) or is there a fix I can apply myself?

16 is a pretty special number in computers, but 30 doesn’t seem like one.
Did you check for database corruption?

I am on the same version as you and have the same issue. I am running Plex as an app on TureNAS. Did you resolve this issue?

Not sure when this changed, created existing libraries months ago and just tried to add new folders but the action buttons are greyed out and have no response

I also tried to create a new library and got the same response

The key issue here is the language drop-down field is empty. The menu is waiting for you to select a language, but there isn’t one. The issue is worse than you failed to select a language, it’s that there is none to select.

A quick ai search tells me that the most common fix to that is to restart the server. I thought it was something else, but further searching on my own has yielded little. Let’s start with a server restart, and I’ll edit with more if I find anything else.

Edit: Some report updating the server (if there is an update) to fix it, but I doubt it is a bug in the server itself, otherwise that version would have been revoked by Plex a long time ago… Other reports are it is a browser cache issue, which can be bypassed/checked by trying another browser. If another browser works, then it was your browser. Try disabling addons to see if one is the culprit. If not, it might be bad site cache, and you might need to delete the browser cache/cookies.
