I was having issues for the last week or so in that any time I tried to access the server from the Pi, which is where the server is running from, I would get a screen, after logging in and navigating to settings, that said “Server Settings are Unavailable;” this made it so I couldn’t access anything in the Settings or Manage tabs, essentially locking me out of the server. So after days of troubleshooting I decided to just delete and reinstall my PMS and I am now running into a new issue. I set a static IP and no matter if I access it from localhost or from my IP address I am unable to claim the server and it brings me back to the same “Server Settings are Unavailable” screen. I had this working for a grand total of maybe 2 days last week before it crapped out and I had to go through this nonsense.
I would love to post the logs but I really have no idea what portion would be needed and it’s hella long. I can update ASAP once someone tells me what they would need or some way to export the logs from chromium.
Server Version#: 1.19.1.2645 (I assume since I just did a fresh install)
Player Version#: 4.22.3
Cancelled my account. If anyone comes across this with a similar problem, no I never got the issue resolved even after wiping my OS and doing a fresh install of Raspbian and PMS.
I am also facing the same problem.
I installed plex on my pi yesterday and was unable to claim the server, always redirecting me to the signin page whenever I try to claim my server
Same thing happening to me. I installed PLEX on a VPS and couldn´t claim the server. I even did an SSH Tunnel to be on the same subnet to try configure it and nothing happened. I’m giving up on remote installation. Nevertheless, all local installs are working fine.
Have you tried using SSH to forward the Plex port to your local machine? I have had issues with remove installations in the past, but it worked once I forwarded the port.
Use: ssh -L 32400:localhost:32400 user@server. You can then access the remove server on your local machine by opening localhost:32400/web in your browser.
