Unable to claim server on Synology NAS DS1019+

After several issues accessing Plex Media Server on my NAS I’ve done a fresh install of Plex Media Server on my Synology NAS device. On app.plex.tv the only authorized devices are my web browsers, Edge and Firefox. With Edge I get a security warning when I try to generate a claim token, or even when I try going to plex.tv/downloads, this is after a complete format and reinstall of Windows 11. With Firefox I am able to generate a claim token and access the downloads webpage.
But regardless, I’ve downloaded the latest version, installed Plex and verified that PlexMediaServer has full access to my data share. Generating a claim token and installing with the token gives me an error and doesn;t complete. I then completely uninstalled Plex, reinstalled, start Plex, log in and try to claim the server that way and it thinks for a few minutes and then goes back to asking me to claim the server. Two weeks ago I had no issues

If the Plex Claim Token fails –

  1. DNS lookup failure ( Control Panel - Network ) - Point to google or modem/router

  2. Gateway IP address (Control Panel - Network - Network Interface) - Point to IP address of modem/router - Set as Default Gateway

Thank you, changing the DNS server to google fixed the issue.
