Unable to connect securely after password change

Server Version#: 1.20.2.3402
Player Version#: 4.34.4
I change password for my account on 2 Oct 2020. I then logged into the server using http://localhost:32400/web and reentered password and recreated pinned items. After I cancelled the browser window I attempted login using the plex.tv launch method over https.
The pinned items came up but without content. A Plex hosted option displayed properly. Pressing more displayed the server list. When I clicked a server the “Unable to connect VR Dell 8930 securely” message displayed. The change to http worked and allowed access to the server as usual.
I have selected the server network option to disable secure connections. This did not affect the error. This is true across all three servers EPW128 EPW132 EPW147. The log for EPW132 is attached.
Note the server uses OpenDNS for lookup. I tested using a different DNS provider but got same result.
The Rokus inside my network are working fine. I have not yet tested remote Roku.
A remote setup of a Samsung smart TV failed. After entered the 4 digit code on plex.tv/activate no libraries or servers displayed content.
I have captured the network packets as the server started up. The 404 error reported by other users is not present. I can’t find a 404 in the server log either.Plex Media Server Logs_2020-10-06_07-51-36.zip (8.2 MB)

Plex Web by default will try using a secured connection. If you turn off security, it can’t access your server. Try adding “?secure=0” to the end of the URL.

I reviewed the Plex certificate 404 thread and found screen shots of the error identical to mine. I responded on that thread and will see if a cert reset is needed.

If you can access your server from other clients, then it is not a cert issue.

OK. I tried the URL you suggested (https://app.plex.tv/desktop?secure=0) in Edge and it works fine to log me in unsecure. This will work for the browser but not other clients live smart TVs.
I have changed the network, secure option back to the default of perfered (which it should be) and still get the no content result.

The Smart TV have an option to allow using an insecure connection. Newer versions of the app have this on by default but older ones don’t and need to be enabled manually in the app settings. If that doesn’t work, we’ll need details on specifically which Smart TV and the app version you are running.

OK, I will get back to you about the specific Samsung TV. I believe it is brand new.
I still don’t understand why my servers were working fine with https until just a few days ago. How do I get this capability restored? It’s better to have the traffic encrypted. I did turn it off but only as a troubleshooting step. Security is back on again as I previously indicated.

Did you restart PMS? I think that is needed after changing the security setting.

Yes, I have now restarted PMS.

MovieFan, thanks for your help. ChuckPA was able to reset my certificates. Problem is resolved for now.
