I have been using Plex Media Server for MANY years now (since March 2014) and have created multiple servers in the past. A few years ago, I weaned it back to just one server but I am needing to create a second server but due to changes, I can’t seem to setup the new server. In the past, the first time I logged into a new server, it had me setup the server and THEN link it to my account but now, it will not allow me to do anything until I link it to my account. When I first attempt to log it into my account, it gives me a message saying:
This application is at 172.18.11.170 and is not hosted by Plex. Continue only if you recognize this server and wish to grant access.
In my case, 172.18.11.170 is the IP of my new server. Once I sign in, I am not given any options of claiming the new server. Even though the URL is the address of the NEW server, I only have access to the OLD server. I am not finding any way to access the new server and create its contents.
Both my original and this new server are created as jails on my TrueNAS machine. I have even tried creating the Plex Media Server as a TrueNAS plugin instead of a traditional jail and it is the same… I am unable to claim the servers.
