One of my Plex users (not the Admin account of my server - a separate user with access) suddenly can’t access Plex through the web (via any of my Windows machines or from my QNAP NAS).
The user has 2FA and when I enter the code I get the message, “The username or password is incorrect.” even though it is correct. If I try to have a recovery code sent I get the message “User could not be authenticated”.
Earlier I was connected to a VPN, so I assumed that logging in with the VPN had caused a lock out. I’ve waited 30 mins and then a further hour before attempted to login again without the VPN, with no luck.
The user is able to login with no issues on my android tablet, but within the android app there don’t appear to be any options to manage the 2FA of the user.
I’ve tried changing the password a few times, trying different combinations of special characters. I’ve tried clearing the cache of my browser. Restarting my phone where the authenticator is installed. But I’m just going around in circles.
Anyone have any ideas? Is there a known issue at the moment? Thanks.
