Update: Long story short.
Did finally manage to update the PMS on the Plex.
These instructions work. Once you’ve done it, just make sure to ignore the messages from Drobo Dashboard to update the PMS. It will want to ‘upgrade’ to the last release Drobo pushed out which is 11 months old at the moment.
