FAQ 15: Claiming & Connecting to a troublesome Synology server
Uninstall Plex Media Server, selecting the “Keep” option.
Reinstall Plex Media Server using the Claim Token option. The installation will lead you through the process of obtaining and using a token.
Point a incognito browser at the IP address of the NAS: http://syno.ip.address:32400/web.
