Also, my Pixel Slate is the (8th Gen Intel® Core™ i5 Processor 8GB RAM 128GB Storage) Midnight Blue version. I thought that info might come in handy since Movie Fan mentioned it might be device specific.

For what it’s worth, we’re now up to app version 8.10.0.21765 (2a5a7cd1), but it still doesn’t work.

That’s not a complaint…just sharing an update.

I just got a brand new chromebook (Levono) and wanted to download movies for family vacation.
My plex app also crashes when I try to go to “Manage” in the “Downloads and Sync” section. HELP! we leave in a couple days…

Any updates on this 8 month old issue?

Any way to submit a real support ticket? Maybe we can get numbers to all of these issues.

I have the exact same issue on a Lenovo iBook.

@gleepwurp I don’t know what that device is but if it has an x86-64 bit chip, then yes it is the same problem. Unfortunately, the devs still have not been able to resolve the issue with these processors. If you have some other issue, I’ll need logs.

I am experiencing same issue. Server linux doesn’t show to sync. App on Android apps on slate slide show sync and when I hit manage it crashes. I love plex, and really like the tablet/computer function of the slate. Would like to solve this one. Any help greatly appreciated. Just joined beta and no joy here.

The Pixel Slate has a x86-64 and does not work due to the issue I mentioned above.

Bumping to stop this from closing. ChromeOS would be a perfect plex companion and it is a huge loss to not be able to properly sync media. Do you have any insight on how to bring this up to devs?

Amen! The whole reason that I got the Pixel Slate was to be able to watch synced content on a plane, since I didn’t want to buy a non-stock-Android tablet. This worked for the first handful of months and then stopped working.
