It looks like they fixed it! I was just able to use the “new download” feature properly on my pixelbook!

Thanks for commenting. I was looking for this thread. A potential fix was added to the latest 8.23.0 release from yesterday. We’ve done some internal testing but would love to hear back from all of you to make sure other devices are also working.

 Actually, I’m getting this: “External storage not found. Swipe to remove or tap to retry.”

But I don’t have external storage. I have 130 GB of internal storage available, and I gave Downloads a 128 GB limit.

That’s a different issue. It’s a false error. You should be able to still access your content from the library tab. We are looking into this.
