Unable to start media playback - Plexamp for iOS

Hi there,

it appears recently, presumably overnight that i can no longer start media playback via Plexamp for iOS? this appears to happen for my iPad/iPhone, and my partners iPhone.

When a track/album is selected a prompt appears “Couldnt Start Playback” with a never-ending spinning wheel.

Once i download the media, this works no issues which i find quite strange.

Plex is run through docker using the following repo: plexinc/pms-docker:beta

currently on PMS 1.42.2.10102

The server is barfing the request to start a play queue:

You seem to be running the very latest server, not sure if related to the update?

(It looks like that might be the beta? If so try returning to stable and see if it helps)

after rolling back from beta to public (1.42.1.10060) I appear to still be able to reproduce the issu across all 3 devices.

Sooo,

for some random reason this started to affect all media players and all media types.

Database was not ‘unhealthy’ but a full repair was done.

still no luck,

Deleted the docker, its appdata files, generated a new claim, and all media players are working as intended. My server will be busy for the next week re-syncing 80TB’s worth of media
