Unable to stay connected to Plex Server

Server Version#:1.22.1.4200
Player Version#:
I did this and reran the zipping of the log files.

Plexlogs.zip (1.6 MB)

A couple of days ago I began to have connection issues with my PMS on a Qnap TS-451+ .

At first rebooting the server on the NAS seemed to correct the problem but it began to happen frequently so I began an investigation. I was not able to connect using
http://(my nas ip):42300/web.

I checked the port and noticed it was closed and began looking at why that was happening. I double checked my router port forwards and nothing had changed. I changed the setting on the router to enable UPnP and that seemed to correct the port issue (not sure why) but I still can’t connect to the PMS.

All the other internet connections on the NAS work ok and the problem seems to be isolated to the PMS. (As a note: I have a PMS running on my Intel PC for backup looking at the media folder on the NAS and this is working ok but defeats the purpose of have a NAS with 24/7 uptime).

I have also found that rebooting the PMS on the NAS solves the problem now for about 5 minutes (or less) and the connection goes away again.

I have included the a zip file of my logs. I did disable verbose logs on the server prior to the last disconnection.

I tried looking at the logs for any obvious problems with the router but could not figure anything out.

Thanks in advance for any help on this perplexing issue.

I am hoping I just did something stupid that can be corrected easily.

Pretty sure this is an issue with the latest update. I have been having exactly the same issue the last few days.

v1.22.1.4200 has some issues on ARM v7 based systems right now, and the devs are investigating. Try reverting back to the previous version. You can download the “last stable version” v1.22.0.4163 by turning “Plex Pass Downloads” off from the download section.

You can also try the preview version v1.22.1.4204 from Plex Media Server - Forum Preview: Faster and smaller builds with new toolchain! . This one works for my QNAP TS-831X, but apparently not for everyone.

Thanks for the response.

After much consternation, I finally tried to check for a corrupted database as per Repair a Corrupt Database | Plex Support .

This seems to have worked but I did have to reload all my libraries and I think I lost metadata that i spent many hours loading in some of my audio files libraries.

I am going to stay with the current build unless it goes belly up again.

I also decided the use Emby as a backup to my system as my family is addicted to being able to get to all the media (like right now. )

Plex is still my number one but for $119 I have a immediate backup using the same data libraries on my NAS.

Thanks again
