Uninstalled and reinstalled Plex server and now I'm not authorized to access my server

Easy solution.

  1. Uninstall PMS (use the first radio button - Uninstall Only – KEEP – option)
  2. Reinstall PMS again — HOWEVER
  3. Select the “Install using Plex Claim Token” (2nd radio button) method
  4. Click “Get Plex Claim Token” hyperlink
  5. Browser will open and show you a claim token
  6. COPY the token
  7. Return to the installation tab and PASTE the token into the window on the form.
  8. Click NEXT NEXT DONE.
  9. It will update the credentials in the server using that token.
  10. If all is well, It will show your username (claimed by:) when it finishes.
  11. Now open normally
