So, I’ve found myself in a bit of a mess and would really appreciate any sort of help!
I was trying to fix the cast list on Bill & Ted’s Bogus Adventure (which shows up as just ‘Peter Hewitt’ on Plex even though the whole cast is listed on The Movie Database) and I thought maybe unmatching/matching would simply update things and that would be that. But, when I went to re-match, I accidentally hit Young Guns 2 cause I’m an idiot and now they’re both screwed up.
Now, no matter what I do, Young Guns 2 thinks it’s completely related to Bill & Ted, with each showing only the other in ‘Related Movies’ and Young Guns 2’s cast now also only showing ‘Peter Hewitt’ as the cast. They both also load with the same tag: Bill & Ted’s Most Excellent Collection.
I can live with the Bill & Ted’s cast being screwed up, but how do I unlink these two movies?? I’ve tried unmatching and re-matching, deleting and re-adding, even deleting the metadata files in the Plex Media Server folder… I just don’t know what else to do or where to look. I’m really hoping that someone out there with more Plex knowledge than I can help a girl out and that I didn’t just royal muck things up xP
