"Unreachable" on localhost and "X-Plex-Client-Identifier is missing" errors

First, I’m not sure if it is related, but I had to reinstall a VPN client (SlickVPN). Perhaps a coincidence. Anyways, whether connected to VPN, disconnected, software not even running, etc., I experience the following:

This is from the machine where the Plex server is installed, mind you (http://127.0.0.1:32400/). I have also completely disabled my firewall, just incase. Same issue. Appears the same on other clients on the same network (Plex Web and iPad).

Additionally, I went right to http://plex.tv and clicked on login and got the following:

(And because I often see this as the first step: yes, I have a very good internet connection). :wink:

What browser are you using? Sounds like maybe a plugin or something is blocking the information being sent. Try private/incognito mode.

I’m using chrome on both the system where PMS is installed and the other PC on the network. I just tried in incognito mode and also in Firefox with the same issue.

Remember, this is occurring with all clients (iPad, web) including the host machine.

You’ve got some database issues according to your log. I don’t think those would stop PMS from working but it might. Check if you have an old backup for your database and copy it back over your current one. https://support.plex.tv/articles/202485658-restore-a-database-backed-up-via-scheduled-tasks/
